DEERY'S RESTAURANT
Kangaroo Point, Queensland.
RESTAURANT, BAR, KITCHEN & PRIVATE DINING
The refurbishment of one of Brisbane’s most iconic pubs was to be a careful process that was sensitive to the federation-style building. This resulted in retaining and restoring many existing features including the original timber bar panelling and timber plank flooring. A portion of the existing ceiling was removed to unveil the original timber trusses which immediately produced grandeur in a space that was previously restricted by a low ceiling height.
Complimented by a neutral palette and natural materials, the new fitout of Deery’s Restaurant has a subdued and sophisticated feel with hints to its former version.
